Lift Every Voice is Texas State University President Denise M. Trauth's holiday gift to a special audience. The goal of the project is to instill Bobcat pride and expand the university’s a cappella audience. The CD packaging juxtaposes sophisticated typography with high-impact photography of the most beautiful campus in Texas. The layering of the song lyrics on semi-translucent pages adds a subtle effect to the photography revealed below and complements the message of discovery and change in the album’s music. The overall impression is more reminiscent of a specialty book than a simple CD package.
